The Admitted Slacker Speaks

I am particularly fond of the lead character.  I have always been a fan of anti-heroes, and he certainly fits into that category.  The protagonist’s name is Jahn (pronounced “John”), and while he has a firm moral code, it doesn’t always align well with the rules of “normal” society.  He also doesn’t have what I would consider a sense of good and evil.  It’s more a matter of right and wrong, albeit on his terms.

So far, I’ve only put down about a chapter’s-worth of words to his story, but I really feel great about them.  And, to be honest, I’ve written more in the past few days than I have in the past few months.  Again, real life is really interfering with my writing.

I will continue to work on Pride, but I will confess, Pale Death is consuming a disproportionate amount of my attention at the moment.  That’s it for now.  I promise to try and do a better job of posting updates.  J
